WIN Fairs? successful results sent positive signals to all industries

Eurasia’s No. 1 manufacturing industry exhibition WIN Fairs Part 1 and Part 2, organized by Hannover Messe Bileşim Fuarcılık in February and March have been highly welcomed by the industrialists bringing 7 locomotive sectors of manufacturing industry together.  Visited by many professionals from around the country and abroad, the exhibition also gained revival to the economy. After the success of WIN - World of Industry Part 1, 2nd Part of the show was also held between March 29th and April 1st 2012 in Beylikdüzü Tüyap.

The exhibition brought the sectors of “Industrial Automation”, “Electrotech”, “Hydraulic & Pneumatic” and “Materials Handling” together under one roof attended by the largest companies of the sectors. As being a mirror of the market, the show’s success coming through the participation of these leading companies and the significant increase in attendance of highly qualified national and visitors, showed that all the industries that use manufacturing technologies are booming. Fikret Dalkıran, Chairman of AKDER supported this with his own sentences after the show “While we never had the workload to require us to be present at the stand area in the national exhibitions and exhibitions abroad we've attended to this day, we could never leave our stand in the WIN Exhibition this year. We were on our stand every day, every hour, due to the high number of visitors. Leading exhibitions like WIN Fairs have a very important place in the growth of industry and commerce. This is because everybody is looking for new technologies and innovations."

 

Besides national exhibitors among which were leading companies, exhibitors from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, South Korea, India, the Netherlands, England, Iran, Spain, Switzerland, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Jordan and Greece displayed their products and technologies  at the exhibition. Germany, Bulgaria, China, Italy and Taiwan also took place with their national pavilions. Dr. Reinhard Hüppe, Manager of ZVEI (German Electrotech Association) Department of Automation expressed his view on the exhibition as follows: “The exhibition started with power from the first day. There were a high number of visitors even on the first day. Germany,as one of Turkey’s most important trade partners, had the highest attendance in WIN Exhibitions to this day with 39 companies. The most important names of German Automation Sector took part in the exhibition. They have a particular interest in the Turkish market. Due to its location, Turkey is Europe's gateway to Middle East and Asia. German echibitors were extremely satisfied with business connections they established and the potential distribution agreements.”

Together with new technologies and innovations displayed at the booths, products providing energy saving and efficiency within the world agenda left their mark on the exhibition. The innovative products and technologies like Sytronix displayed by Bosch Rexroth and Sustainable Cities displayed by Siemens gained interest of visitors.

 

Great Interest from Middle Eastern Countries

Middle Eastern Countries showed more interest in the exhibition compared to the last years. Apart from the Buying Mission program supported by the Ministry of Economy, delegations from Spain and The Federal State of Germany North Rhein Westfalia, the fair attracted many decision makers, that came individually from Middle Eastern and North African countries. This year also more press members from Middle East followed the exhibition, which shows how important are Turkey and the WIN Fairs for the region is.

Stating that WIN Exhibitions are leading not only in Turkey but also in the Middle East and they open doors to the overseas, E.Yüksel Erdoğan, Deputy General Manager Marketing & Sales of  ARTronic expressed his opinion on the exhibition as follows: “As an exhibitor, we take heed of this exhibition as an international one and would not miss it. The promotion of the exhibition was also very successful and this year we were extremely satisfied with the visitor profile as well. The visitors of the show were very good not just by quantity but also by quality. We have established many decisive and productive business connections. Aside from foreign visitors, the visitors from Turkey country-wide were of extremely high quality. We have been attending this exhibition for twelve years, and we aim to attend with a higher number of square meters next year."

 

Industrial Activities Summit and “Robots and Automation Symposium" provided an efficient platform for know-how transfer

The Industrial Activities Summit organized within the scope of the exhibition hosted many conferences and panel discussions. The "Robots and Automation Symposium" organized on the first day of the exhibition by German VDMA Association drew considerable interest within the scope of the summit that attracted great attention.

The exhibition visited by 75.669 people from around the country and abroad was substantiated in 30.754 square meters net with the attendance of 1.744 companies in total.  51 industry related visitors from small, medium and large companies in Anatolia visited the exhibition with buses from 27 cities. The exhibitors of the show also stated their satisfaction with their extension to Anatolia through WIN Fairs.
