Valentin Software now develops PV*SOL® with green electricity from naturstrom

naturstrom now delivers Valentin Software in Berlin with one hundred percent clean energy. The software company specialising in simulation programs for photovoltaic, solar thermal and geothermal systems changed to the independent green electricity supplier with effect from December 1, 2011. The design software PV*SOL®, the pre-ferred choice for many project managers and installers, as well as T*SOL® and GeoT*SOL, will be further developed from now on with electricity exclusively from naturstrom.

?For a company in the renewable energy sector it is a matter of honour to use green electricity?, comments Dr. Gerhard Valentin, founder and Managing Director of Valentin Software, about the change. In the search for a suitable provider it was im-portant for the company that green power plants be supported, without any overlap with conventional energy.

?As naturstrom is not just an energy trader, but is also a project planner and operator of photovoltaic systems, there are many synergies with Valentin Software?, comments naturstrom board member Oliver Hummel. ?Generally, networking between companies in the renewable energy sector is important in order to join forces for the energy transition?, as he explains.

Following this guideline, naturstrom not only markets the production of energy from over 200 wind generators to its customers, but in turn supplies green electricity to re-newable power plants. As market leader among the independent providers of wind power, naturstrom supplies over 420 wind parks with around 2,000 individual plants. The Düsseldorf-based company has also been active in the field of photovoltaic en-ergy since last summer, after delivering 19 photovoltaic roof plants to Parabel AG.
