Tenesol establishes Greek subsidiary

Tenesol has opened a new subsidiary in Greece. The company has operated in Greece for many years through its distribution network. Tenesol will reinforce this network while also developing and serving the country?s rapidly growing solar industry directly.

Manthos Kallios, newly appointed general manager of the Greek subsidiary, joins Tenesol from PPC Renewables, the renewable energy subsidiary of Greece?s largest power company, where he was director of the solar energy division.

?The continued effect of the economic crisis means that Greece?s solar market will not reach its full potential this year,? says Mr Kallios. ?That being said, we expect 150-200 MW of new capacity will be installed. Tenesol?s entry into this dynamic market reflects our confidence in its potential and growing importance in the European PV market. Combined with our strong financial and industrial backing and over 27 years? experience, Tenesol can offer its complete range of turnkey services to foster its continued development.?

Tenesol?s new office is in Marousi, central Greece. The company is working on several opportunities already and is talking with several Greek finance houses to finalise a suitable financial offering for clients.

Tenesol?s distribution network delivers its wide range of PV modules and services throughout Greece. With a wealth of experience, the network works closely with clients to meet their needs and help develop their business. And with its manufacturing plant based in France, Tenesol can meet strict delivery times and offer a high rate of availability.

As a turnkey systems provider, Tenesol manufactures, install and manages PV systems around the globe. With an advanced production facility in Toulouse, France, the company is well placed to serve the growing needs of the Greek market.
