Indra to undertale corporate roll-out of Enel?s renewable energy subsidiary at world scale

Indra, the premier It company in Spain and a leading IT multinational in Europe and Latin America, was awarded a 5.1 million Euro contract by Enel Green Power, the subsidiary of renewable energy of the Italian Electricity company, to undertake the global Roll-Out of the SAP.
The project includes the upgrade and extension of the technological platform by incorporating new modules in the financial and logistics areas and further implementation in the company?s subsidiaries in Spain, Portugal, Greece, France, USA, Canada and Mexico.
The contract also comprises the management and support of the applications in Brazil, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala and Chile, where Indra has already implemented this model.
This way, Enel Green Power will be equipped with a platform with the same corporate systems for the group, thus the economic-financial and logistics information can be managed in an integrated way which will facilitate the consolidation and control of subsidiaries. In addition to this, the integration and standardisation of processes will lead to savings in operation times, improvements in productivity and therefore, to making the company more competitive.
This contract reinforces Indra's presence in one of the main clients of the Italian energy industry and consolidates the company's expertise in international roll-out projects thanks to a combination of its management capacity at global scale and to its broad local support network in over 110 countries. The IT company has undertaken similar projects for Gas Natural Fenosa, Endesa, Repsol and Ecopetrol.
Indra maintains a close relation with the Enel Group as a technology partner in the areas of generation and management of energy. Among its most significant projects we should mention the implementation of the management system for the operation of all power plants located in Italy (ESIM project). The Spanish company also undertook the implementation of a CRM platform, several tools and information systems for different corporate and business divisions of Enel as well as the development of a global system for Enel Green Power to monitor wind farms. Furthermore, Indra provides global services for the development and maintenance of the corporate and energy management systems worldwide of Endesa, Spanish subsidiary of the Enel group.
